I have 5 lap blankets that my mother crocheted for each member of my family. Unfortunately, she was on pain medication at the time and althought the stiches are relatively even, none of them are square. These would make good beds for a dog or something like that. If you think you could use them, please let me know. I hate to throw them out, but I don’t have the extra room to keep them – maybe they could be put to good use. My cheating husband decided to move in this weekend with his girlfriend only taking a small amount of his things. I’ve boxed everything up that is his, whoever can get here teh quickest can take it all and freecycle what they don’t want.

I shouldn’t ask, but with spring fever kicking in. Does anyone have a farm pond they wouldn’t mind me taking my 4 and 6 year old to just to do some bream fishing? They get really bored very quickly in the boat and they love the XXX trout hatchery’s pond, but it’s only open weekdays until 4pm and that makes it hard to take them there. If anyone has a pond they don’t mind me taking them to, it’s totally your rules (catch and release, one time, whatever you say) and it would be much appreciated.

BTW, I grew up in XXX fishing my grandparents pond so I totally understand unwillingness to let a stanger fish a private pond for all the obvious reasons. However, we wouldn’t leave trash, horses and cows don’t bother me but I’m not a fan of big bulls (haha), I know to not break down fences, and I know how to shut gates behind me. Hard to belive what some people will do.

I know it’s a long shot, but thought I would toss it out there.

A friend who has a flea problem in his house neds to get his dogs and cats out while he sprays the house. If anyone has a small kennel that he can borrow, he will be most appreciative. He has just moved into the house last summer and also needs a vacuum , if possible. thanks for any help.
